The Egyptians left half baked bread in water to ferment und have made a sort of beer.
The Romans considered the malt drink later as a barbarian drink.
In medieval beer was considered suitable even for children because it had less alcohol than today and it was almost free of germs because the cooking of beer seasoning.
At that time in today´s Germany living germanic peoples have invented the art of brewing. First with soaked flat bread, later similar to present with sprouted grains. The Bavarians have already had drunk much at that time, because they liked to celebrate and had even a kettle which could be filled with 500l.
